The visit
Length, chapter counts, and the path from the farm to the tunnels.
A visit is one complete first-person game of about six hours, with a fully voice-acted cast. The chapter count is eight, from Farmer Terry's farm to the tunnels under the park. A second count is ten chapters, at that same six hours.
Length
Both counts put the visit at about six hours. The game is first-person psychological horror, the cast is fully voice acted, and it is sold as one complete game.
Steam chapters
The eight-chapter count runs from Farmer Terry's farm to the tunnels under the park.
Press chapters
The other count is ten chapters, and it keeps the six-hour length. Neither number has been retired.
Farm to tunnels
Chapter titles are not part of either count, so there is no room-by-room route to follow. The span you can name stays the farm at one end and the tunnels under the park at the other.

What the two counts leave out
One sitting
A full visit is about six hours, sold as one complete game rather than a season pass or a demo slice. The viewpoint is first person, and the cast is fully voice acted. The story, in one line, is family, belonging, and the true cost of endless happiness. That line is the theme. It is not a scene list. There is no minute-by-minute breakdown, no chapter select map, and no stated length for any single chapter.
Eight on Steam
Eight chapters have only two named ends: Farmer Terry's farm and the tunnels under the park. Eliot's greeting makes Terry the first stop because Terry helps children find their way home, which lines that opening up with the farm end of the span. The tunnels are the other end. Nothing between those ends is named as a chapter title. A room list from somewhere else is not an official chapter list.
Ten in the notice
The ten-chapter count does not replace the eight. It keeps the six-hour length, and nothing later has picked one number and dropped the other. Treat eight and ten as two counts of the same visit. The path you can still say out loud is the farm and the tunnels. The ten-chapter count does not name that path.
Where the night starts
Before any chapter count, the night starts indoors: Tolie is not allowed to leave the house, then she wakes alone in the park, and the speakers send her toward the information booth where her father is waiting. Eliot's greeting then sends the first stop to Farmer Terry. A walk that begins at the farm is following Eliot. A walk that begins at the booth is following the speakers. Both directions are part of the night. The park after dark shows a carousel, a lit castle, and a Tickets sign. That view is the grounds, not a chapter menu. Tolie is looking for her father while Eliot starts the walk at Farmer Terry, who helps children find their way home. The story in the visit is family, belonging, and the true cost of endless happiness, told by the voice-acted cast.
