Tolie's father
The park speakers name Tolie's father. They say he is waiting at the information booth. That is the most specific place he is given. Eliot's longer greeting is looser: her dad is waiting somewhere in the park, and the person Eliot actually takes you to first is Farmer Terry, who helps children find their way home. The father and Terry are not the same person. One is at the booth, according to the speakers. The other is the farmer at the first stop.
He has no portrait and no sentence in his own voice. The staff announcement about a little girl in a white dress and a pink hat tells guests to notify staff. It does not say the girl is Tolie, and it does not say the father is the one making the announcement. That notice is a staff line on the rules page. What belongs with him is the booth, the "somewhere in the park" line, and the fact that Tolie is looking for him.
The chapter span does not list him as an endpoint. The eight chapters run from Farmer Terry's farm to the tunnels under the park. The ten-chapter count does not add the booth as a titled chapter. If you are tracking where a walk should send you, the speakers send you to the booth and Eliot sends you to Terry. Both directions are part of the night. Neither one gives the father a face, a job beyond waiting, or a line you can quote as his.
